Hi! I’m Shelly! I’m SO excited to be back at camp as Rosh Mishlachat and head of communications! I loved camp so much last year and just knew that I had to spend another great summer on Maple Lake! I spent this past year in Miluim (reserve duty) as an officer and eagerly waiting to come back to camp. I can’t wait to see you all in a few short weeks and for you to meet our amazing team of Israeli staff! See you soon!

Adam: Head of Arts

Hey Camp George! I am Adam Krugel and I’m beyond stoked to return to maple lake this summer, my 11th, as the Rosh Anaf arts. I am currently a student at the University of Michigan where I study English, Judaics, and the History of Art; Between my travels this year and my newfound practice of lithography, I have gained some awesome insight and can’t wait to share it with you all!

Hey, my name is Cale Greenwood and I will be the Head of Adventure this summer! I’m looking forward to an awesome and memorable experience and can’t wait to be back on Maple Lake. Cheers and see you all soon!

Sara: Community Care Assistant

Sara is an art therapist in training with a varied background of experience. She began her undergraduate degree in Theatre and Psychology and is now receiving a post-graduate diploma of Art Psychotherapy from the Canadian International Institute of Art Therapy. Sara has always used her own creativity as a source of joy and connection, and was inspired by its way to promote that in others. She has worked with a range of youth programs, from overnight camps, to homeschool art drop-ins, YRDSB wellness programs, and the Holland Bloorview art respite camps. Her aim is to encourage the expression of everyone’s potential for inner creativity, whatever that may look like. With a focus on process-based collaborative exploration, she strives to create spaces where individuals can feel safe and secure while engaging with their creative voice. Sara is very much looking forward to bringing her unique approach to wellness to the Community Care team this summer.
