There is something unique about the Camp George community and the relationships that are made here. Camp friendships are stronger and last a lifetime. You may live in different cities or countries, but that does not prevent you from maintaining your bonds formed at Maple Lake! That is why we’re excited to introduce our alumni working group! A gathering place for camp alumni to reconnect with the George community!

The Alumni working group aims to build a strong alumni professional network across past and future cohorts by coordinating various events for current alumni age groups and discussing what alumni want to see from camp! The subcommittee hopes to provide an opportunity for all alumni to reconnect with one another and stay connected to Camp George: their home away from home for many years, and how being a part of the alumni network helps with our future, including jobs, friendships, and Jewish companions.

The working group is currently made up of past alumni leaders. We have a wide range of committee members excited to bring new and innovative ideas to the alumni community. However, we are always looking for more members to join! We welcome you regardless of where you live, how much time you have to give, or who you are. If you want to contribute to the George Alumni community, you’ve got the job! Email Marly Bromstein at mbromstein@urj.org or Melanie Wasser at melanie.wasser@yahoo.com if you would like to join the team!
