Meet our Mishlachat for Summer 2022!
Name: Mika
Hello everyone! My name is Mika, and I’m going to be an Counselor at George this year! I come from Petah Tikva, a big city which is a suburb of Tel Aviv, but this year I am a UJA ShinShinit at Temple Har Zion! I love music, media and animals! I can’t wait to see you at George in just a bit!
Name: May Levi
My name is May Levi and I’m from central Israel. I will be the Amitei Ivrit specialist and counselor this summer. One of my favorite things to do in my spare time is to travel with my friends and discover new and beautiful places. Another fact that people may not know about me is that I really like learning foreign languages. When I was in high school I studied Chinese (Mandarin)! This will be the first time I’m going to be in Canada, so I’m very excited to visit the country, meet new people at the camp and gain a lot of fun experiences.

Name: Avishag
Hey! My name is Avishag and I’m going to be a yoga specialist this summer! As a yogi I’m very excited to take the yoga with me all the way to Camp George and to be part of everything at camp! I live in Israel in a Ramat Gan and I like sports and music. I practice Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga for almost 5 years, last year I finished the yoga teacher training and now I’m working as a yoga teacher in a studio in Tel Aviv. Another sport activity that I like is running and most of the time I like to run in “Yarkon Park” on a sunny day (also the best place to have a picnic with friends). In my free time I am playing and practicing the piano and I learn songs on my ukulele. This summer I’m looking forward to having so many good experiences with all the staff and children! I can’t wait to make new friends and of course give to the campers knowledge to practice yoga and become talented yogis that can’t stop doing poses for fun! I can’t wait to meet you all this summer!
Name: Amit Bar David
I will be the Dance instructor at Camp George this summer! I am from Tel Aviv. I can’t wait to dance with you all and have the best summer ever!

Name: Naama
My name is Naama and I’m from the Sharon area in Israel. I’ll be joining camp this summer as a baking specialist. I always loved baking and I can’t wait to share this experience with you. I’m currently finishing my military service as an officer in the education corps, and I’m looking forward to moving on to a new and exciting adventure as a guide at camp. I can’t wait to see maple lake and meet you all. SEE YOU THIS SUMMER!

Name: Noa Sella
Hello Camp George! My name is Noa Sella, and I am so excited to join Camp George for this amazing experience in the summer. I can’t wait to meet the other leaders, staff and campers! I hope that they are ready to have a great time as I am ready to have. I live in Israel in a nice city named Ashkelon, it is in the south of the country. On October 2021 I was released from the army. When I was a student, I studied at Art school. I studied five units in Sculpture and painting, Biology, Arabic and English. I like to study art because I discovered that I can express myself with it. You know how I like to express myself the most? Through the theater! As a child I studied theater. I was so shy in the other classes, but in theater I was a different person – the crowd always laughed at my shows and would tell me that I am a great actress. People think that sometimes I am too much dramatic, and it fit with acting! So I can tell you now that I am going to be a drama specialist at camp! I am so happy to teach theater, It is my dream! I hope that we will laugh together all the time. This summer I am looking forward to doing the best job that I can, and I will be there for you and to make sure that you will smile all the time. Can’t wait to meet you in the summer!
Head of Mishlachat: Lior Shrem
Hi, I’m Lior Shrem and I am from central Israel. I will be the Rosh Mishlachat and head of communication this summer! I am so excited to return to camp for my second summer to reunite with friends, be surrounded by nature at Maple Lake, and help our wonderful Mishlachat bring Israeli culture to campers. I also look forward to catch sunsets by the campfire and create memories that will stay with me forever. In 2020 I finished my military service in the intelligence corps in the IDF as a security investigator. After camp last summer I had the opportunity to travel across the United States and some countries in Central America where I completed a yoga teacher training course in Costa Rica. In my free time I study Spanish and Buddhism where I hope to elevate gratitude at camp and contribute an international perspective.
