LEADERSHIP TEAM FOR SUMMER 2022!

Zara: CIT Director

Hi everyone my name is Zara and I am so excited to be the CIT director for summer 2022! This will be my 14th summer at camp and I am so looking forward to being back in the CIT unit for the first time since 2015 when I was a CIT. Being a CIT is one of the most special and unique summers that campers get to experience and I can’t wait to help all of the campers create amazing memories and have the best summer ever. At camp you can usually find me spending my time on the docks with all my friends and campers. Outside of camp, at the end of this semester I will graduate from my undergrad in sociology at York University and I will be going to teachers college in the fall. I can’t wait to be back on Maple Lake in just a few months for the best summer ever!

During my free time, I love to watch the Leafs and Raptors with my friends. After finishing the semester in April, I’ll be travelling to Israel for 5 weeks to participate in the Onward Israel internship program, where I will work for Powerlinx, a tech startup based in Tel Aviv. Excited to experience Tel Aviv’s vibrant culture before returning home to spend the summer at camp!
