Check our our interview with Rosh Adventure Aviv Naftali in the blog below! Welcome back Aviv!

Tell us about your background at camp.

“I joined camp as a Shinshin in 2015 after living in Toronto for a year. I was a counselor in Kochavim and Barak. That summer left me with some vivid amazing memories, wishing I had more, so I’m back for more this summer.”

What are you looking forward to this summer?

“Going back to the most peaceful views I’ve ever seen. Anything from playing some tunes on the guitar while sitting on the dock while watching the sunset, to canoe trips and much more.”

What do you do outside of camp?

“I’ve been traveling for the last half a year, after I got discharged from my military service. South East Asia, UK, Cyprus, Greece & Egypt. I’m about to start school this October, combining Law & International Relations.”

You have to sing karaoke, what song do you pick?

“Livin’ On A Prayer” by Bon Jovi. Best karaoke song, period.”

If you had to eat one camp meal everyday for the rest of your life what would it be?

“BBQ, no doubt.”

What is one thing people might not know about you?

“I live and breath music. I started playing guitar around the age of 13, today I have 6 guitars. I also play the harmonica, piano and ukulele, and sing as well – in general, I wouldn’t be able to enjoy a day to the fullest without some tunes!”
