Can you believe that we are almost two weeks into first session? Time flies when you’re having fun! The weather this week has been great with sunny skies and the perfect temperature to be outside in and around Maple Lake. From our camp-wide dance on Sunday, to yesterday’s CG Games, the camp atmosphere has been incredible and we look forward to having you join us at camp for Visitor’s Day on Sunday from 11:00am to 2:00pm.

In addition to all the camp-wide fun, here are some highlights from of each of our units:

Nitzotzot had a fun and busy second week of camp. They had a blast and the Bounce dance, wrote kindness cards for our friends in the unit, and worked together to complete an escape room! Campers had a blast cheering for their teams during CG Games, and are looking forward to seeing family and friends on Visitor’s Day!

Lehavot canoed over to Gan Matan and had amazing Island Adventures. They also had a very successful CG Games, and their cabin team building evening program was a great success.

Kochavim had marvelous second week of camp. They started off the week with cabin themes for the bounce dance, had a great evening program with lip sync battles and water stones, and the kids getting hyped for their teams during CG GAMES. They are looking forward to Visitor’s Day and our girls and boys overnight at Gan Matan.

Barak rocked their hearts out at their “Air bands” evening program. They also had fun playing a unit-wide game of Stones, and B4 and B5 just returned home after a successful canoe trip.

The CITs had a full week out at their full placements. They also started planning their own evening programs and ran their own photo scavenger hunt. They also had a lot of fun planning and running a water sponge battle.

Moving ahead into the week, we have a lot to look forward to. Coming up this week, we are excited about:

  • The B’libeinu Run
  • Yom Yisrael
  • Barak Gives Back
  • And Pride Shabbat this weekend.
