URJ Camp George Staff Internship Program

We are thrilled to announce the launch the Staff Internship program for 2019, open to third year staff (and older).  The last seven years of the program has been a great success. Our interns were able to gain valuable workplace experience, develop new skills, expand their resume, and bring a new excitement to their summer job at Camp. This year’s internships are now open for application.

Applicants must have accepted their summer contract with Camp or be in the process of discussing a potential summer contract in order to apply.  Summer contracts will need to be firmed up for internships to be finalized. Interested applicants should submit their cover letter and resume to the key contacts listed below by February 28, 2019. Interviews will be conducted by each organization early March. Internships will begin around May 1 (depending on each Intern’s exam schedule) and conclude June 21 prior to the start of Camp Staff Training. Each Intern will earn a $1500 stipend paid by the organization (unless otherwise noted below).

Included as part of the Internship is a mandatory one-day Professional Development Day held in the Camp office. During the summer, each intern will also be asked to participate in an information session to share their experiences with staff for the following year.
